Research Interests:
Dr. Burgreen's research interests currently include CFD-based design optimization for aerodynamic and bioengineering applications, next-generation simulation code development using object-oriented programming, development of CFD-based models for blood damage: hemolysis, thrombosis, and platelet activation, surface modeling and mesh movement strategies for complex and physiological geometries, cross-platform GUI and 3D graphics development, and multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) involving fluid dynamics and heat transfer.
