Research Interests:
Dr. Eell's research interests include genetic control of dopamine neurons as it relates to the survival of dopamine neurons or control of dopamine neurotransmission, which could have direct relevance to neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease, schizophrenia and attention deficit hyperactivity. He is also interested in research regarding the interaction between environmental/developmental factors (toxin, stress, etc.) and genetic factors on dopamine neuron function.
