Dr. Filipov's research interests include the mechanism of action of neurotoxicants; basal ganglia degeneration; microglia, inflammation and neurodegeneration; neuroimmunology; neuro-endocrine-immune communication in health and disease; and age-environment-gene (protien) interaction in neurodegeneration.
